The Mitsubishi 4A91T is a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline inline-4 engine derived from the Mitsubishi 4A9 engine family. With a 1,499 cc displacement, DOHC 16-valve cylinder head, MIVEC variable valve timing and multi-point fuel injection, the 4A91T was widely used in selected Chinese-market passenger cars and SUVs. Depending on the vehicle and engine calibration, the 4A91T produces approximately 136\u2013156 hp and 195\u2013215 Nm of torque. The engine is known for its compact design and broad use across Soueast, Zotye, Landwind, BAIC and other Chinese vehicle applications.<\/p>
The 4A91T uses a turbocharged 1.5L inline-4 configuration with DOHC 16-valve cylinder heads, MIVEC variable valve timing and multi-point fuel injection. The engine has a 75.0 \u00d7 84.8 mm bore and stroke and a compression ratio of approximately 9.5:1.<\/p>
The engine has a displacement of 1,499 cc and uses a turbocharger to increase power and torque compared with the naturally aspirated 4A91. Depending on the application, output is approximately 136\u2013156 hp with peak torque around 195\u2013215 Nm.<\/p>
The 4A91T was used in selected Soueast, Zotye, Landwind, BAIC, Brilliance, Senova and Dongfeng Fengxing vehicles, including the Soueast DX3, DX7, V5 and V6, Zotye T600 and Z500, Landwind X5 and X5 Plus, and BAIC BJ20.<\/p>
